Sabaidee, I am Johnny Houngmany and I am a qualified Laos Tour Guide. Working as a Freelance Tour Guide with most of the International Tour Operators who host tours within Laos, I have been delighting visitors to the country for the past 16 years, sharing with them our culture, traditions and customs which is what makes Laos such an incredible country to explore.
Launching my own tour company, Authentic Laos Travel in 2016, I am extremely flexible and guarantee I will provide the best service throughout. Please review the tours I suggest to experience Laos and its natural beauty. However, if you prefer a tailor made program I will be pleased to work with you to design an itinerary to suit your needs and budget.

All of my tours provide a ground service only with myself or a member of my team as a local guide, a private driver and transport in an air conditioned vehicle and admission fees giving you the opportunity to book accommodation to suit your needs and budget. The prices illustrated represent ground service only, however, if you prefer a package to include accommodation this can be arranged accordingly. So if you are looking for a flexible private tour but don't want to pay the hefty prices that the tour companies often quote then please get in touch.

Me, my husband and his sister booked 12 DAYS IN LAOS as private tour with Johnny Houngmany. We started in Luang Prabang and ended in Pakse, did the journey by car with driver and had one flight from Vientiane to Pakse. Johnny speaks English very well and we learnt a lot about Laos history, its people, the culture and its beautiful nature. Everything was planned perfectly and the whole journey was totally stressless for us, we enjoyed our tour very much! I booked the tour with Johnny before arriving at Luang Prabang and was not disappointed. I had extremely limited time, so I decided that a half-day afternoon tour would be great as it would free up the rest of the time in the city itself. Johnny was able to accommodate my request exactly. I went straight from the airport to the famous falls, visited a Hmong village, followed by a Mekong sunset cruise and back to my hotel. Perfect and exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend him.
