A Social Enterprise whereby visitors to this dairy are supporting the rental of buffalo providing local farmers an additional income stream.  Take a tour of the dairy followed by a visit to Kuang-Si Waterfall.  A great day for all ages....

DETAILED ITINERARY:​

• You will be met at the lobby of your chosen hotel and transfer by private vehicle to the Buffalo Dairy Farm, approximately 45 minute drive from Luang Prabang

• Upon arrival you will be met by your guide who will explain about this first and only buffalo dairy farm in Laos., how they are helping to provide an additional income to the farmers and improving feeding and veterinary care.   

• Take a tour of the farm and get up close to the buffalo.  Enjoy the opportunity of milking and feeding the buffalo.  The tour take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

• Before departing sample some of the cheeses or enjoy an ice cream.

• Depart the Buffalo Dairy Farm and continue on to Kuang-Si Waterfall.  

• We will take a leisurely hike through the national park towards Kuang- Si Waterfalls and pass by the Asian Bear Rescue Centre.

• Enjoy feeling the mist of the cool, turquoise waters of the different waterfalls.

• Hike to the top of the main waterfall from where you can enjoy the panoramic views.

• Return to the pools at the bottom of the falls where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

• Transfer back to your hotel by private vehicle.
